The Vacation Pretty Process
Vacation Pretty is a service that offers rentals of salon quality hair straighteners, curlers, flat irons and more for when you're traveling abroad. Whether you're gone for a week, or three, you can ensure your hair will look fabulous and you will feel great for your many adventures and the pictures that go along with a hair tool that will work abroad!
1) Choose your product - if you're unsure of which style you will need for your travels, compatible countries are listed under each product.
2) Select the date your hair straightener rental is to arrive. We advise you to select the day before your scheduled departure. Hair straighteners / flat irons are guaranteed to arrive at your home, office or hotel by 8:00 PM on the date you select.
3) Add supplemental insurance for your hair straightener. Accidents happen! Protect your wallet by adding optional insurance to your flat iron rental.
4) When you return from your fabulous vacation (with amazing pictures!), simply return your hair tool rental for free using the provided packaging and pre-paid shipping label which will be emailed to you. Styling tools must be dropped off at the nearest UPS or USPS site by 12 noon on your flat iron rental return date. (All hairstyling tools must be returned from the US)
Rental Periods
We offer rental periods of 7, 10, 14 and 21 days for hair tools. The day you select for your rental to arrive is day 1 (if your rental product arrives early, lucky you!). Your rental will always begin on the date you request for arrival, no earlier, so rest assured your rental period will not be cut short if you receive your flat iron early. Your rental hair product is due to be dropped off or picked up by UPS or USPS (depending on the shipping method used) by noon the day after your rental period ends. For example, for a seven day rental, you would receive your hair tool no later than 8:00 PM on day 1 and you would return your rental hair tool via UPS/USPS by noon on day 8.
Don't worry, every rental comes with a confirmation email detailing your selected rental start date, your rental period and the date your hairstyling tool is to be returned.
Rental Timing and Delivery
Remember to schedule your flat iron to arrive the day before your departure! Deliveries are made between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Monday - Saturday. There are no Sunday deliveries, if you chose Sunday as your delivery date, your hair straightener rental will arrive no later than the Saturday before your delivery date, by 8:00 PM. Tampa, FL deliveries are made by courier and will arrive by 8:00 PM on the scheduled date of delivery.
We offer next-day delivery to most of the US based on product availability. If we have a rental hairstyling tool available, we can get it to you if your order is placed by noon the day before you would like your rental hair straightener, curler or flat iron to arrive.
Unfortunately, we do sell out of certain rental flat irons, curlers and tools during busy vacation times. Process your rental as early as possible to ensure availability for your next vacation (and amazing hair for all of your pictures!).
